Advocacy and Public Policy
ITAC Talent’s advocacy and public policy efforts focus on improving the talent pool, skills and diversity of the tech sector. We also raise awareness at all levels of the government for the need to expand the pool of qualified technology talent in the Canadian market to improve our country’s productivity and competitiveness globally.
ITAC Talent is part of the wide-range of tech sector advocacy efforts undertaken by the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC) to engage and influence local, provincial and federal governments through activities that include:
- Parliamentary Committee appearances, policy submissions, white paper development and consultations.
- Meetings with Ministers, Deputy Ministers and other senior policy makers.
- Private briefings and government committees.
- Marquee and private events with senior government, policy and regulatory leaders.
